Meet These Media Makers, Actors, & Artists at CAAMFest
CAAMFest offers the best in film, music, and food from the world’s most innovative Asian and Asian American artists. Between the glitz and glamor of Opening Night and the quiet reflection of Closing Night, accomplished media makers, artists, and special guests will be on hand to celebrate and interact with San Francisco audiences.
“Linsanity” Director Evan Jackson Leong, along with Producers Christopher Chen, Allen Lu, and Brian Yang, will join us at the CAAMFest Opening Night Screening and Gala. The Centerpiece Presentation will include “Midnight’s Children” stars Satya Bhabha and Samrat Chakrabarti.
New Directions kicks off at the Asian Art Museum with Heems and Dapwell of Das Racist, performing as Indian Bastards from Hell. Directions in Sound, CAAMFest’s premier music event, highlights some of the most exciting up-and-coming artists on the West Coast: Dengue Fever, Jhameel and Vinroc.
The second season of “Nice Girls Crew” kicks off with stars Lynn Chen, Michelle Krusiec and Sheetal Sheth! Joining them will be actors Parvesh Cheena, Anthony Ma, and Leonardo Nam as well as Director Tanuj Chopra and Writer Christine Kwon. Leading the (Bitter)Sweet and Mixing Masala cook salons is well-known Bay Area food author Thy Tran, alongside Wendy Lieu of Socola Chocolatier, Lisa Murphy of Sosu Artisan Ketchup, and Paawan Kothari of The Chai Cart.
