CAAM is thrilled to offer a complimentary media workshop for young women at this year’s CAAMFest. The workshop is open to women ages 15-25 years old—newcomers and amateurs welcome! ABOVE THE LINE: WOMEN’S MEDIA WORKSHOP gives the next generation of female directors, writers, editors, cinematographers, actors and artists insight into the industry, with the help of three experienced professionals: award-winning Sundance director Tanuj Chopra, critically-acclaimed actress Michelle Krusiec (Chinglish, Saving Face) and art-house stalwart Jy-Ah Min. Whether you’ve dreamed of being a director, actor, or want to refine your skills as an artist, this workshop will provide you the technical skill and industry savvy to kickstart your career.

The workshop is FREE to participants. All applicants must have registered by March 8, 2013.
