This year’s Documentary Competition brings together many CAAM-funded and -Produced films, with subjects touching on passion, hope and success that build connections between family, food and sports.


  1. 9-Man

    9-MAN is the story about a gritty Chinese-only street-ball game born in the alleys and parking lots of local 1930s Chinatowns. Director Ursula Liang follows 9-MAN’s rising stars and chronicles the rich history and evolution of the sport as rival teams battle to cement their place in history.
