It truly takes a village to make CAAMfest a success. Every year we rely on dedicated and talented volunteers to help produce the largest celebration of Asian and Asian American film, music, and food in the Bay Area! There are a wide range of volunteer opportunities (and benefits!) throughout the festival – from the galas to the box office.
Why you might be excited about volunteering with us:
- Vouchers for festival screenings(1 voucher per shift, 2 vouchers for late night shifts, 3 vouchers for back-to- back shifts)
- Official CAAMFest 2024 Volunteer T-shirt
- Invitation to the annual Volunteer Appreciation Party on Thurs, May 23, 2024
- Opportunity to meet film industry professionals and connect with fellow film, music, and food enthusiasts
- Participate in uplifting our communities
We are looking for volunteers who can:
- Commit to a minimum of THREE (3) x 4 hr shifts over the course of the festival (May 9 – 19)
- Attend ONE (1) Mandatory Volunteer Orientation in SF on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 at 10:30am – 11:30am or 6:30pm – 7:30pm at Ninth Street Independent Film Center
- Are friendly, approachable, and have a can-do attitude
