Volunteer for CAAMFEST36!

CAAMFest would not be possible without our hundreds of volunteers! Every year, prior to the festival’s move to May this year, our volunteers from around the Bay Area log in almost 2,500 hours. Our volunteers help make it all happen through a variety of capacities—from special events, theater operations, and assisting festival guests. Be a part of the nation’s largest showcase for Asian American and Asian films!

Volunteer benefits include:

  • Meeting film industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts
  • Official Festival Shirt
  • Invitation to the annual Volunteer Appreciation Party
  • Vouchers for festival screenings and raffles (1 voucher per shift)

We need volunteers who:

  • Can commit to a minimum of three shifts over the course of the festival (approx. 12 hours in total)
  • Can attend a Volunteer Orientation (April 18th & 19th, 6pm-7pm at the Ninth Street Independent Film Center Screening Room located at the ground floor)
