About the filmmaker: Emory Chao Johnson is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. They were a production fellow on Netflix Original Documentary DISCLOSURE (dir. Sam Feder) and their narrative short BIND has screened at film festivals including Frameline, NewFest, and Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Emory is currently working towards completing their MFA at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
