Magpie Alchemy x SAMMAY

The HINGA Limited Edition line by SAMMAY x Magpie Alchemy is inspired by the latest short film Hinga which honors the sacred grief and resiliency of the Bay Area Filipinx community in this time of great uncertainty and equally great possibility through movement prayer, spoken word, and performance ritual – conceived and directed by SAMMAY (Spiritually Awakened Matriarchal Magick Alchemizing You).

Brought together by Balay Kreative, this collaboration uplifts the ancestral lineages of both SAMMAY and Jamie Cardenas of Magpie Alchemy – a tapestry of inherited narratives and ancestral wisdom from their grandmothers who were both arbularyos or medicine people from the island of Luzon in what is now known as the Philippines. Created with deep intentions for collective healing and made with the utmost love, care, and integrity – each medicine is meant to alay you (be an ally) in the necessary journey of sacred grief and personal transformation.
