In this SXSW official selection, Bay Area filmmaker Luke Salin brings to the screen an enchanting and touching coming-of-age tale. Jamie Park, a Korean teenager, moves in with her relatives in the midwest after a family tragedy strikes back at home in Seoul. There, she meets her cousin Eli, and together they navigate high school while struggling with identity, guilt, and grief.

About the filmmaker: Luke Salin is an Asian-American filmmaker from the Bay Area. During his time at NYU, Luke worked on dozens of projects, focusing on producing and directing. His experience culminated in his work directing Parked in America. As of February 2020, Luke has been working at Bleecker Street Media as a creative advertising coordinator.
