Featuring emerging and cutting-edge musicians, Directions in Sound exposes Bay Area audiences to innovative artists from the underground music scene. This year, directions in Sound expands its music programming to include music-centric films paired with special live performances from Cambodia, Vietnam, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area.

Get ready for New York based emcee Awkwafina with her satirical rhymes and Suboi, “Vietnam’s Queen of Hip Hop.” Joining them are Kronika, 2x World Champion DJ Vinroc and DJ Bluz. Hosted by CHOPS of the Mountain Brothers!
