MY PRINCE EDWARD

On day 2 of CAAMFest FORWARD, we continue our Drive-In Experiences at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (2 Marina Boulevard San Francisco, CA 94123) with a celebration of Hong Kong Cinema. As part of the evening we is thrilled to showcase the US Premiere of MY PRINCE EDWARD, a 2019 Hong Kong film directed by Norris Wong in her directorial debut.

This charming and thoughtful film stars Stephy Tang and Chu Pak-hong, who portrayed a pair of lovers experiencing challenges as they prepare to step into marriage. This film does a powerful job at exploration  the societal pressures put upon women and the impact that has. But in a breakout performance, Stephy illuminates the screen with a wonderful mixture of courage and vulnerability.
